  3. In regards to the Nintendo wifi adaptor, it actually uses an old Ralink RT2500 chipset according to the wiki entry at:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Wi-Fi_USB_Connector

    There are also links to sites on how you can use the adaptor with other wifi devices.
